SQA National Progression Award in Professional Theatre Preparation

The NPA in Professional Theatre Preparation is suitable for those in S2+ who have a keen interest in drama and acting. The NPA is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills appropriate to the theatre profession and to develop a foundation for progression to further study.

On successful completion of the course, participants will gain an National Progression Award which sits on the SCQF at Level 6.

The fee covers attendance at all classes and workshops, all SQA fees and assessments.

Fee

The fee for the course is £550. This covers all classes workshops and assessments and SQA administration fees. It can be paid in full at the time of registration or in nine monthly payments. If paying in instalments, the first payment is due at registration with subsequent payments taken (using Continuous Payment Authority) from the card used at registration on the same date monthly.

Refund Policy

The deadline for registration is 31st August. If the student withdraws before this date, they will be provided with a full refund. Between 1st September and 8th October, if any student cancels their place, 50% of the fee will be refunded. After this date, as we will have incurred significant costs relating to their place, we will not be able to refund any fees. If paying in instalments, any outstanding balance will become due at cancellation.
